1990 Porsche LS3 AWD Swap – Historic First Build
This wasn’t just a swap — it was a full-scale takedown of German tradition.
Underneath this 1990 Porsche now lives a 585-horsepower LS3, hand-built in 2006 spec and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that puts full control right in the driver’s fists. The original Porsche gauges were preserved, but that’s where the familiarity ends.
Outlaw-engineered with dual front racing radiators, electric coolant pump, electric power steering, and a custom AWD drivetrain, this car became a whole different species. Out back, it screams through a quad-tip Chevy bowtie exhaust with cutouts—a brutal reminder that this machine isn’t confused about its identity anymore.
