First-Ever LS-Swapped AWD Dodge Dakota R/T | 6.2L L92 + 6L90 Firepower
This wasn’t a swap — it was a full-on Mopar mutiny.
JT at Outlaw Performance took a 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T, ripped the disappointment out of its factory drivetrain, and replaced it with a 6.2L L92 LS3-based engine — custom-cammed, AFM/DOD deleted, and built for 500HP of pure American vengeance.
Paired to a 6L90 AWD transmission, this build was done completely from scratch. There were no swap kits, no online forums, and no one to call. This was all JT’s mastermind engineering, done solo — with nothing but brains, fabrication, and the will to make it happen.
A custom digital dash, hand-wired and configured by JT himself, keeps all systems monitored while the headers and dual exhaust rip through an X-pipe into Magnaflow mufflers.
The sound? Violent.
The drive? All-wheel chaos.
The reaction? Why has no one done this before?
Because no one else could.
This is the first documented LS-swapped, AWD Dodge Dakota R/T running a 6.2L LS and 6L90 trans combo. It’s not just fast — it’s disrespectful.
This is why there’s a waitlist.
One man. One vision. No damn compromises.
